Welcome to the Kufundisha Communiversity Institute

The Kufundisha Communiversity Institute offers an educational program designed to deepen the understanding of the African American sociohistorical experience, facilitate racial healing, and challenge myths about Black history and culture. Rooted in the tradition of community-based education, the program bridges the gap between academia and the community to foster Black pride, raise critical consciousness, and promote systemic change.
